A Journey into the Beliefs of Africa
Taking a step to the side, Anthony JP Meyer unveils his collection of 99 African bronze miniatures. Produced using the lost-wax casting process, these ancient pieces from the 17th to 19th centuries immerse us in the cultural beliefs of Africa with statues depicting anthropomorphic and zoomorphic figures, including deities, musicians, couples, crocodiles, birds, as well as tools and jewelry.
This exhibition offers a wonderful opportunity to discover the art and spirituality of these remarkable bronze miniatures. Each piece tells a story, evoking the customs, beliefs, and traditions of the rich and fascinating cultures of the African continent.
