About...

A specialist in African and Oceanic art since 1987, Stéphane Mangin has been based in the Vérité family gallery in Montparnasse since 1996. Continuing the tradition of eclecticism and quality of this mythical place, he presents in the renamed gallery "Galerie Kanaga" a vast collection of masks, sculptures and other architectural elements from Africa, New Guinea, America and Asia.

He is an expert approved by the C.V.V. for numerous auctioneers' offices both at the Hôtel Drouot and in the provinces, and regularly organizes public sales. Stéphane Mangin is also the author of books on old postcards of an ethnographic nature, on masks from Nepal, and of numerous catalogs of public sales and exhibitions, such as the one on Couples and Janus (December 2004).
